Panthers hire Defensive Coordinator Ejiro Evero - 5 things to know
After losing out on the Fangio sweepstakes, I didn't think landing Evero was a possibility, and it doesn't seem fair to call this a consolation prize. This was another excellent hire by the organization. Although the staff isn't complete yet, in terms of raw coaching talent, this is the most well-rounded Carolina has ever put in place. They're taking their time with it, and getting the right guys in place. At least on paper. Time will tell if the chemistry is there, but I appreciate the approach they're taking, and I think it will pay off in the long run. Panthers Social Media has been on point with their Frank Reich coverage, but I want to take a second to highlight an article they put out on Evero. I'll just list the list, and drop a link below if you would like to read more into it. Coming from Denver - The numbers speak for themselves here. As Defensive Coordinator, his unit continued to impress all season. Super Bowl win as a Rams coach - Ever was the defensive passing game coordinator and secondary coach for the Rams 2021 Super Bowl run Worked with Dom Capers in Green Bay - That's a familiar name to many Panthers fans, as the first head coach in Panthers history. Started his NFL coaching career with Tampa Bay in 2007 as a defensive quality control coach Was born in England, but raised in California Full Article: https://www.panthers.com/news/five-things-to-know-about-new-defensive-coordinator-ejiro-evero -

Duce Staley joining the Panthers coaching staff
I'll go ahead and get hyped up. I loved Rivera, but he was loyal to a fault. Rhule's staff was all unqualified college coaches for the first couple of years. So it's nice and refreshing to see them putting a legitimate staff of highly qualified coaches in place. Not a buddy-buddy system, just the best guys they can get for the role, and taking their time with it. -

Defensive Coordinator Search
The search is over! Looks like they got their guy, and it's.... FANGIO! Again. Lol. -

The Coalition is all-in on the next Gears of War game after their last two projects were cancelled
I'm a bit torn on what to think of the news. As much as I'd love to see what The Coalition can build with a new IP, I can't wait to see what the team at The Coalition can put together to cap off this trilogy, and with Unreal Engine 5, to boot. Let's cap it off in style! I'm just wondering how they handle that moment from Gears 5. https://www.videogameschronicle.com/news/gears-6-is-reportedly-the-coalitions-next-game-after-2-other-titles-were-cancelled/ -

Duce Staley joining the Panthers coaching staff
We'll see what happens. I like the idea of all these things, but I'm holding out on any reactions. -

Duce Staley joining the Panthers coaching staff
Huge get for the Panthers. I've been following Duce Staley for a while, and he's rightfully been moving up the ranks. He's a hell of a get, and is going to be a great asset to have in the locker room. -

I'm still playing...
I'm just building up his confidence before striking him down. That's totally it. -

Episode 1 is in the books! Phenomenal job by everyone involved in bringing this game to life. The cast, the sets, the way it's shot. I'm ready to take this journey... AGAIN. -

The Last of Us Discussion (Spoiler Free)
I mentioned this in my introductions post, but The Last of Us if my #1 favorite game. I'm a bit late to the party, but the time to catch up is now! It has some high expectations to live up to, but if what everybody is saying holds true, I won't be disappointed.
