The finale capped a very up and down Season 1 of “Better Call Saul.” Unfortunately, this was a disappointment for a series finale. I think fans everywhere were expecting to see the birth of Saul, but it looks like we’ll have to wait until Season 2 for that.
A couple of the scenes lasted longer than necessary, but I get the reasoning behind it. They were a part of a bigger picture, but there were two scenes than lasted 1/2 the episode on their own.
All of that aside, it was a fun ride in season 1 & we are without a doubt excited for the Sophomore season!
+ Jimmy’s B-I-N-G-O rant
+ Jimmy’s descendance back into Slippin’ Jimmy
+ The ‘death(?)’ of Slippin’ Jimmy?
+ Howard’s not such a bad guy
– Slow start to the episode
– Scenes lasted longer than needed
