Saul & Mike’s acting were both what you would expect to see (very good), but the Kettleman’s roles were not well acted at all. There were a few cool back & forth scenes that were fun to watch, but short-lived.
Some filler scenes were thrown in & extended, which threw the pacing off. This episode would’ve been well suited as 30 minutes of airtime.
Last week’s episode, Five-O, really set the bar high, and I’m sure we’ll see more episodes like that in the future. This episode was not one of those episodes.
Good, but not great.
+ Saul stepped it up today. Some great negotiating & putting Mrs. Kettleman in her place were a joy to watch.
+ Secret Agent Mike
+ The one cop / detective was a nice change of pace.
+ Good cat-and-mouse game / dialog in the whole embezzlement case with the Kettlemans.
+ Chuck adds a nice comedic element with his “sickness”
– Betsy Kettleman
– No explanation as to how Saul replaced the bribe money he already spent on the billboard, deposit on the loft (?)
