Guest Post about Video Games, Comics, Sports & More!
First, allow me to tell you a bit about Deadicated Fans. DeadicatedFans.com started as a Walking Dead fansite with the ambition to grow into a full-fledged resource for news on TV & Movies, Sports, Video Games, Comics, Tech, and more. We’re optimistic that bringing in a large variety of contributors (with the opportunity to collect through AdSense) will help push us to the next level in reporting news on all subject matters.
How will we pay you?
Each author / contributor will have the option to attach a Google AdSense account to their account on the website. Once this is done, there will be a few ads that display on your post. The more views those ads receive, the more advertising revenue you receive. Post often, employ SEO best practices, share your content, and watch your revenue build.
If you do not have an AdSense account, or can’t sign up for one, we would still love for you to consider guest posting.
Will there be early access video game copies available?
We have reached out to all of the major publishers and have received a few advance copies of video games thus far. We can’t guarantee we will get everything we ask for, but we have been fairly successful thus-far in receiving press copies for review or preview. If there is a particular game you would like to review, and you’re a part of the team, let us a know and we can certainly inquire!
What we are looking for:
- Writers with a strong sense of passion. Not just for for the categories covered, but for writing.
- Writers that aren’t afraid to express their opinion, even if it doesn’t align with the masses.
- Writers that want to grow their talent, learn how digital marketing works, and build their brand.
What we require:
- At Deadicated Fans, there is no non-compete clause. You are free to pitch to other outlets, maintain your own blog, etc. All that we ask is that anything that is published by Deadicated Fans is not published elsewhere. But you keep your work for portfolio-sake.
- There is no minimum or maximum number of posts we require, but we ask for you to be fairly active. We understand you may have a full time job to do, may have your own blog to maintain, or life may get in the way of having updates every week. However, we would like to see one or two articles submitted a week (at least), if it’s doable. And a reminder, the more you submit, the more opportunities to earn revenue. There is absolutely no maximum on content submissions!
- Stay up to date on the latest in gaming, sports, movies, or comics news. Read. Listen to podcasts. Stay engaged in communities.
- Circulating your work. Mainly through sites such as N4G, StumbleUpon, Reddit, and other forums that are designed for sharing work. We would love to see your work go viral!
How to Apply:
You can register for the website using this link. anybody who registers will automatically gain contributor status and a spot on our members page. The more posts you make (5 points per post) and views your posts receive (1 point per view), the more website ‘cred’ you receive.
In the future, website credits can be used towards a merchandise store. The more points you have, the higher on the leaderboard you will be as well, and gain more exposure.
